NMEE-EPC&ERMA'23
NMEE Session on Environmental Pollution Control and Ecological Remediation in Mining Areas (NMEE-EPC&ERMA'23) will be held online from October 24 to 25, 2023.
EPC&ERMA'23 is a sub-conference of NMEE2023. This conference is committed to providing a platform for experts and scholars engaged in environmental pollution control and ecological restoration in mining areas to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote cooperation in the industrialization of academic achievements. Through exchanges and discussions among scholars from all over the world, we will open up new research ideas and establish contacts between peer scholars to seek more cooperation opportunities and contribute wisdom to achieving pollution control, ecological restoration, and green mining development in mining areas.
During the process of economic globalization, mineral resources play a significant role in production. Soil and watershed pollution, caused by the continuous development of mineral resources and the use of agricultural chemicals, is a major environmental problem confronting the world today. The treatment and remediation technology of pollution has also received widespread attention from the international community. At present, pollutant controlling methods and the remediation technologies of pollution include physical remediation, chemical remediation, bioremediation, and joint remediation. Based on this, analyzing the pollution situation of soil and river basins, developing effective green governance and bioremediation technologies, and conducting empirical research are of great significance for controlling soil and river basin pollution in mining areas, achieving high-quality development in mining areas, and continuously improving the ecological environment.
Based on this background, the ecological risks and problems as well as the ecological remediation will be discussed and evaluated in the mining area and the surrounding environment; the migration and transformation of pollutants in the soil and river basin will be revealed; the paths and methods of ecological restoration in the mining area and the surrounding environment will be sorted out; and successful application cases will be displayed. The original high quality manuscript will be collected. All papers submitted to this conference shall be original manuscript related to the field of the conference, and will be peer-reviewed by at least 2-3 reviewers, and evaluated according to the originality, technical and research content, manuscript quality, correctness, relevance, contribution and readability of the conference. Scholars and researchers are welcome to contribute to the meeting.
